Crystal died March 15, 2019.  Crystal suffered from COPD and had been on oxygen for the past 2 years. 
 

Crystal was the mother of Daequan whom she loved obsessively.   
 

Crystal graduated from Boys Town in 1993 and continued her education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.  She worked for ENCOR for 15 years where she took care of individuals with developmental disabilities in a group home setting and then in her home. 
 

Crystal was very independent, she had to be her mother passed when she was 14 years old.  She was determined to be the best at whatever she did and wanted to be the best mom to her only child also. 
 

Funeral services were held on March 23, 2019 at the Braman Funeral Home with Father Val Peter, JCD, STD, Executive Director Emeritus of Boys Town leading the service.  Many memories of Crystal were shared with her friends and everyone gathered afterwards for fellowship and to remember Crystal.
