Charles Cotton Hurd, '67, passed away on June 3, 2018 in White Plains, Maryland.
Peacefully entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 3, 2018.
Charles was an Army veteran and worked for the Department of Justice in Contracting. He had planned on attending his 50th Class Reunion at Boys Town but was receiving treatment for cancer and unable to make it.
He is survived by his loving wife, Thomasine Hurd; daughters, Therese Reese (Kevin) and Crystal Hurd; stepdaughters, Antilecia O'Neal (Michael) and Lakeia Tuck (Corey); sons, Eric Hurd and Russell Hurd; mother, Mary Cuthbertson; 11 grandchildren, Eric Jr., Arianna, Dyllan, Elijah, Aeriele, Carter, Corey Jr., Logan, Bryce, Paige, and Benjamin; extended family member, Marsha Hurd; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Mr. Hurd's service was held at Galilee Baptist Church, 2101 Shadyside Ave., Suitland, MD on Saturday, June 9, 2018 with Interment at Trinity Memorial Gardens.
