obit_carol_trevino_600x800Carolyn A. (Carol) Trevino, Wife of Mike Trevino, '58, passed away on April 5, 2018 in Gladstone, Missouri.  Auxiliary Lifetime Member and Past President of the BTNAA Auxiliary.

June 29, 1941 – April 5, 2018

Carol Trevino was a strong and loyal supporter of the Boys Town National Alumni Association (BTNAA) and with her husband Mike, '58, contributed materially and substantively to making the BTNAA a much more appealing and caring association.  She devoted countless hours to keeping in touch with Mike's classmates in the Class of 1958, was a lifetime member and avid supporter and leader in the BTNAA Auxiliary serving as President.  Carol Trevino was a regular attendee at almost all Alumni functions, worked tirelessly to make the BTNAA reunions a success and brought a ray of sunshine to everybody she met.  Her energy, smile and caring spirit will be missed by generations of Boys Town Alumni. 
 
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who provided a caring home and environment for her family.

Preceded in death by parents, Percy and Evelyn Kellerman; brother, Armand Kellerman.  Survived by husband, Michael; children: Cindy Trevino (Mike Roach), Shellie Nelson (Andy), and Anthony Trevino (Liz); grandchildren: Kaily, Alec, and Trevin Nelson; sisters, LaVonne Perjanik (Nick) and Rosemary Hembertt (Charles); nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
 
VISITATION: Tuesday, April 10th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at the West Center Chapel, followed by VIGIL SERVICE at 7:30pm.  MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL:  Wednesday, April 11th, at 11am at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 4810 Woolworth Ave.  Interment:  Resurrection Cemetery.  Memorials are suggested to the Boys Town Alumni Scholarship Fund.
