Louis James Clupny, D'41, passed away on December 7, 2016 in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Louis “Lou” James Clupny September 15, 1927 - December 7, 2016 Louis worked for Burlington Railroad for 42 years at the Havelock Shops.
He enjoyed woodworking, model airplanes and bowling. He was a history buff, especially WWII. He had a John Deere model tractor collection. Louis was an active member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.
Loving dad, grandpa, great grandpa and brother. Preceded in death by wife, Phyllis; son, Scott; twin daughters who passed shortly after birth, Mary Ann and Cheryl Ann; 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Survived by daughter, Teri (Melvin) Morgan; grandchildren, Jamie (David) Hofschulte, Kimberly Clupny and Daniel Clupny; great grandson, Jared Hofschulte; sisters, Sylvia (Robert) Knowlton and Phillie (late Howard) Englehardt.
