Robert "Rob" S. Krasienko, '72

obit_robert_krasienko_600x800Robert "Rob" S. Krasienko, '72, passed away on February 27, 2018 in Lorain, Ohio. 

Robert "Rob" S. Krasienko, 64 of Lorain, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018 after a lengthy illness surrounded by his loving family at Oak Hills Nursing Home. Rob was born September 10, 1953 to the late Charles and Evelyn (nee Berens) Krasienko. He was the third of seven children.

Robert lived in Lorain the majority of his life. In his younger years he lived in Nebraska where he graduated from high school. After coming back to Lorain, he worked at United States Steel, Lorain.

Robert's greatest joy was fishing and hunting with his brother Tom. Robert had a skill for putting smiles on the faces of all he knew.

He shared a home with his sister Wanda who also became his caregiver along with the staff of Oak Hills and Crossroads Hospice.

Robert is survived by sisters, Wanda Howington and Corrine (Jack) Velez, both of Lorain, Laurie (George) Goble of Lakeland, Florida; brothers, Thomas Krasienko and John (Nancy) Krasienko, both of Lorain; and many loving nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents, Rob was preceded in death by his sister, Christine Godless.

A celebration of Robert's life will be held at a later date.
