Get your Mickey Mouse ears out of the trunk, pack up your family and head to Orlando, Florida for a great family vacation and join your Boys Town brothers and sisters as Boys Town Central Florida hosts us for a weekend of fun and friendship.
 

Your BTNAA Convention Committee has outdone itself in collaborating with the Central Florida staff and the team at the Renaissance Hotel-SeaWorld to give you a vacation of a lifetime.  Orlando is flush with theme parks; Disney World, SeaWorld, Universal Studios and many more.  There is so much to do in the Orlando area that you and your family can take part in.  The Space Coast with Cape Canaveral and the Kennedy Space Center is just a short drive away where you can enjoy the Atlantic Ocean beaches at Cocoa Beach.  The kids and staff at Boys Town Central Florida are geared up to show us their campus and are looking forward to the Alumni Association sponsored picnic.   
                                                                                                                    

We will gather at the Renaissance Hotel-SeaWorld in Orlando for registration at 2 p.m. Friday afternoon, July 27^th.  The registration cost is $90/person for the entire weekend.  We have been able to get a great rate of $119.00/night at the Renaissance Hotel-SeaWorld.  The hotel has generously allowed us to guarantee our rate for the three days before and three days after the reunion once you are registered for the reunion weekend.  You need to make your reservations by June 27^th to get this rate.  Don’t hesitate in making your reservation.  This is a busy time of the year in Orlando and rooms go very fast.
 

The BTNAA Board of Directors will be holding a face-to-face meeting from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday morning at the hotel and you are welcome to attend.  If you are interested in attending let us know in advance by calling the Alumni Office so we can have the room set up to accommodate your attendance.  The board will meet to discuss and vote on establishing special election criteria for staggering board member terms and other business of the association.
 

Friday evening at 6:30 p.m. we will gather for dinner at the Tradewinds Restaurant in the hotel for a welcome dinner served by the hotel staff.  Father Boes, Boys Town’s National Executive Director is scheduled to give an update of everything that is happening at Boys Town’s locations all across the country and will be available to answer questions and share his thoughts with you.  After the dinner you will have free time to visit local sites.
 

On Saturday morning we all head out to the campus of Boys Town Central Florida where Mr. Greg Zbylut, Executive Director, his staff and the youth in their care will host us for a presentation about the various programs of healing and hope they administer at the Boys Town Central Florida campus.  We will have a tour of the campus and individual home tours led by the youth and their Family-Teachers® that will be sure to be a hit.  After the tours we will host a picnic on the grounds of the campus for the youth and staff.  The picnic has been a highlight of past mini-reunions because we get the opportunity to learn more about the kids and the staff and how their programs are making a positive difference.  After the picnic we will head back to the hotel and you will have the rest of the day free to head out to the theme parks or visit with classmates and friends.
 

On Sunday morning join everyone in the hotel dining room for a no-host breakfast before we pack our bags and head home after another exciting and fulfilling mini-reunion.
