June 1, 1937 ~ November 11, 2017
Frank Marquez went home to our Heavenly Father, and our Lord Jesus, after a dignified battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis.

Frank was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was the son of Petra Zamudio. Frank was equal parts, Native Indian, Spanish, and French. Frank's awesome sisters were Hope Gonzalez and Patsy Hellman., his brother, Tony Marquez. Frank's aunt, the remarkable, Rose Sandoval and his Uncle, Jessie Torrez. All preceeded Frank's passing, all are remembered fondly.

Frank graduated from Boystown, located in Omaha, Nebraska and joined the Army were he served his country as a Military Policeman. Upon leaving the Army, Frank moved to Rawlins, Wyoming, here he met the love of his life, Pauline Christine Sandoval, and her three wonderful children; Joe, Darlene, and Charlene. This lovely couple were soon married and Frank adopted Pauline's children as his own. Married in 1959, this amazing couple recently celebrated their 58th anniversary in August.

Frank supported his devoted wife and their five precious children working as a mechanical engineer. He was also an accomplished baker, winning awards for his exquisite wedding cakes and pasteries.

Our Father will always remembered as a loving, compassionate, dedicated, and hardworking man always supporting his children which now included his sons; Rick and Paul. With a lifetime worth of memories, our beautiful Father may be gone, but he will never be forgotten.

Frank loved his family very much! Family was everything to Pops. Lots of love and respect for all. He enjoyed the birthdays, other memorable events, like graduations and sporting events and the holidays, especially, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Frank's love for his chldren, 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, his nephews, nieces, church friends, neighbors, and co-workers was strong, he was always happy to see family and friends.

Frank saved his greatest LOVE for his wife, Pauline Christine. Mom and Dad were always together. This perfect couple shared everything! Favorite pastimes included; time with family, going to the mountains, and travelling all over America and other countries. They spent their 50th anniversay in sun splashed Italy. True best friends, life's difficulty only made their love stronger. Together, Frank and Christine, taught everyone what Godly love really is.

A man that never had a Father, taught his family values, integrity, wisdom, compassion, faith, hope, and LOVE. Frank gave his great self, unselfishly, to his lovely wife, family, friends, and to his Heavenly Father, and our Lord, Jesus.

A celebration to honor Frank's remarkable life was held at Calvary Chapel in Modesto on Wednesday, November 29th, 2017.

The family would like to thank ALL the staff members at Doctors Medical Center who took extraordinary, loving care of our Father during his last days. A heart-felt thank you to the staff and friends at Calvary Chapel for hosting our celebration.  1 Cor. 13:13
