Jacob "Jake" and also known as "Jackie" Junior Voeller, 80, passed away Monday, October 02, 2017 at home.
 

A celebration of life service will be held Friday, October 6, 2017 at 6 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro with military honors to follow.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
 

Mr. Voeller was born in South Dakota on August 11, 1937.  He was retired from the United States Air Force as Master Sergeant and was a member of St. Michael The Archangel Catholic Church at Seymour Johnson AFB. 
 

He is survived by his loving wife of over 50 years, Patricia Voeller; two sons, Jacob James Voeller and wife, Jill of Kinston and Brian Lee Voeller and wife, Lesley of Goldsboro; one daughter, Teresa Vining of Goldsboro; half brother, George of South Dakota; five grandchildren, Cooper, Hayden, Bailey, Darren and Brandon and two great-grandchildren, Maverick and Nathan.
 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Martha Voeller; three brothers, Richard, Danny and Donnie Voeller and four sisters, Viola, Helen, Phyllis and Mary Ann.
 

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
