Geradette L. "Geri" Izzen was born on September 21, 1951 to Edward J. and Eleanor T. (Markiewicz) Izzen in Omaha, Nebraska.  She was preceded in death by both parents and three siblings, Thomas, Connie and Roberta who died in infancy.
 

Geri was an employee of Boys Town for many years working in the high school where she met and knew many students.  Later in life she was a volunteer with the Boys Town National Alumni Association helping during their biennial reunions.  She is remembered for her caring nature and her helpful spirit.
