Paul E. Sibley'50, passed away on May 3, 2017 in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

Age 84, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2017. He was born in Superior, Nebraska on September 10, 1932, to Charles and Leota Sibley. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Charles Sibley.

Paul is survived by wife of 48 years, Bonnie Sibley of Rio Rancho, NM; his children Mark Donnermeyer, Troy Sibley, Michelle Sibley, and Carie (Kenneth) Dirks; and five grandchildren Kasey, Cody, Wesley, Aliasia, and Teagan.

Paul graduated from Boys Town in Omaha Nebraska in 1950. Paul served in the Army during the Korean War where he earned the Korean Service with Bronze Star attachment, United Nations Service, the National Service Defense, and Good Conduct Medals along with a Meritorious Unit Commendation. Paul worked as a heavy equipment mechanic welder, artist, landscaper, wood worker, and carpenter. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and most of all his family.  Paul was a dedicated husband, father, and grandpa. He was always willing to help family, friends, and neighbors in need. Paul had a gentle way with animals, always loved a good joke, and enjoyed food, music, ice cream and coffee.

A Visitation will be at Daniels Family Funeral Services Southern Chapel, 2400 Southern Blvd, Rio Rancho, New Mexico, on May 11, 2017 at 12:00 pm with a Military Graveside Service to follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park, 4301 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, New Mexico.
