Michael J. (Tilden) Yellowhorse, '80, passed away on January 31, 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Lifetime Member.

Michael J. Yellowhorse Sr. CHURCHROCK - Funeral services for Michael J. Yellowhorse Sr., 55, will be at 9 a.m. Monday, Feb. 6, 2017, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Kayenta, Arizona. Bishop Jacob Holiday will officiate. Burial will be on a family plot in Tsegi Canyon, Arizona.  Yellowhorse died Jan. 31, 2017, in Las Vegas.
 

He was born March 11, 1961, in Gallup. Yellowhorse graduated in 1980 from Boys Town High School in Omaha, Nebraska. He was a welder and carpenter. Yellowhorse loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. 
 

Survivors include his son Michael J. Yellowhorse Jr., of Kayenta, Arizona; daughter Shandiin Yellowhorse, of Monticello, Kentucky, Malary Ruth Yellowhorse, of Tucson, Arizona, and Dezbah Yellowhorse, of Tsegi, Arizona; mother Betty F. Tilden; brothers Mervyn Tilden, of Gallup, Mark C. Tilden, of Boulder, Colorado, and Chip Tilden, of New York; sisters Deborah Yellowhorse, of Chula Vista, California, and Valencia C. Tilden, of Hawaii; and 10 grandchildren.
 

He was preceded in death by his father Juan Yellowhorse and grandson Jace P. Yellowhorse. 
 

Pallbearers will be Michael J. Yellowhorse Jr., Mark C. Tilden, Chip Tilden, Anthony Shirley, Derrick Shirley, Dickie Lee and Leonard Greyeyes.
