Brandi S. Thramer, 42 years, of Fremont, NE passed away Friday, December 23, 2016 at Birchwood Manor in North Bend, NE.
 

Brandi was born June 28, 1974 to Jerry and Rox Ann (Karch) Thramer in Fremont, NE. She grew up in Fremont and graduated from Boys Town in 1992. After graduation, she volunteered for the Peace Corp in Missouri for a year. While in Missouri, Brandi took classes to become a CNA. She worked as a CNA for several years at Skyline Nursing Home in Omaha, NE. In 2004 she was diagnosed with a debilitating brain tumor, she fought her cancer for over 12 years while residing at Birchwood Manor.
 

Brandi loved to draw and was very artistic. She also loved to spend time out at the Fremont State Lakes fishing. Brandi always had a bright personality and a contagious laugh. She enjoyed watching movies, singing and making jokes.
 

She is survived by her father, Jerry Thramer of Fremont; brother, Dusty Thramer of Omaha; grandmother, Irma Karch of Fremont; aunts, Sue Carlson and Terri Oliver of Fremont; cousins, Chevy (Amber) Carlson, Danny Karch, Willie Oliver, Lacey Oliver, Josh Carlson, and Bentley Carlson all of Fremont.
 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Rox Ann; and grandfather, Raymond Karch.
