Patrick Gerard Grierson was born on May 6, 1957. He was number 9 of 11 children born to Dr Alfred J Grierson and Norma Grierson. He grew up on 51st and Alameda in the Hollywood district of Portland Oregon. Patrick graduated from Boys Town in Omaha Nebraska in 1976. He also met his future wife Donna later that same year. Patrick and Donna were married February 23, 1980. They had 3 children, Harlen, Boys Town Class of 1999, Jennifer, and Christina and 1 grandson Lukas and 1 granddaughter .

Makayla. Patrick started working as a Longshoreman for Portland Local 8 in 1980. He retired early in 2009 due to an injury he sustained at work .

Patrick and Donna raised their children on a 3 acre farm in Oregon City near Redland. They enjoyed riding thier horses and having various other farm animals over the years. Patrick loved riding motorcycles and driving his boats, fishing , and camping.

He was a wonderful loving husband and father. He loved meeting and talking to people, and made many good friends. He was kind hearted, loving and generous and willing to help others. We will forever hold him in our hearts and always remember how blessed we were to have him in our lives. Rest in peace my love
