Pat served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and he worked for the U.S. Postal Service, retiring after 35 years. He also graduated from Father Flanagan's Boys Town High School in 1948. He was preceded in death by his father, Leo Gregory Lambert; mother, Lillian Agnes Rodgers Lambert; brothers, Albert Lambert, Jesse Lambert, James Lambert, Francis Lambert, Dan Gibson; sisters, Sister Bernadette Lambert CCVI, Mary Smith Pall, Martha Marlowe.
 

Survivors: Wife of 55 years, Gaynelle Lambert; son, Patrick Lambert Jr.; daughters, Vicki Goode and husband, Robert, Cindy Briscoe and husband, Mike; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Florence Schulze, Sister Evelyn Lambert CCVI, Anna Ford; and several nieces and nephews.
