obit_albert_coburn_600x800Albert Everett Coburn, '64, passed away on December 2, 2024 in Bellevue, Ohio.

Albert E. Coburn, 79, of Bellevue and formerly of Norwalk, passed away peacefully Monday, Dec. 2, 2024, at Bellevue Care Center. He was born in Portland, Oregon April 16, 1945.

Al was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Anyone who was blessed enough to cross paths with him knew he had a great sense of humor, and loved sharing his story about Boys Town, Nebraska. He always greeted everyone with a warm smile, and a gentle handshake. He was active in his church, Mount Harvest Church of God in Milan, and they were like family to him. Al retired from Union Carbide in Fostoria.

He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara (Beamer) Coburn; daughter, Lynn (Jeff) Love of Attica; grandchildren, Kanisha Boyd, Jaden Love, Nathan (Sidney) Love, and Moriah Love; great-grandson, King Boyd; daughter, Donetta Blankenship of West Virginia; and siblings.

Friends and family are invited to his visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at noon Monday, Dec. 9, 2024, at Mt. Harvest Church of God, 150 State Route 113 West, Milan, OH 44846. Pastor Joe Woodyard will conduct the funeral service.

In lieu of flowers (due to severe allergies), the family requests memorial contributions may be directed to Mount Harvest Church of God or Boys Town, 14100 Crawford Street, Boys Town NE 68010.
