Veteran's Day 2024

The long and storied history of Boys Town alumni who have served our nation in the military is replete with honor and sacrifice.

Each year our nation honors its veterans with a special day of recognition.  Within this day are stories, so compelling, of service and sacrifice in the cause of freedom around the world.  That freedom can only be safeguarded against those who would take it when ordinary citizens rise to the occasion and commit their life to secure and protect those who enjoy the rewards of a free society.  Over the years, thousands of Boys Town Alumni have raised their right hand and vowed to protect our nation and the constitution upon which it is founded.  America has been, and will always be, a beacon of hope for so many around the world and the light of that beacon is powered by the strength of those who step up to sustain it.  Boys Town Alumni have always been the first to honor that obligation and we honor you and your service to our nation.  Long after the uniform has been hung in the closet, the bonds that were created while serving remain the most cherished throughout life.  For only those who have made the commitment, fought the battle, or stood on the front lines of freedom can know the unique bond that only those who have done it can know.  To all Boys Town Alumni Veterans...you are honored, recognized, and appreciated.
