obit_pascual_alarcon_600x800Pascual Alarcon, D'64, died on September 2, 1964 at the Boys Town Camp in Okoboji, Iowa.

Pascual Alarcon, 17, Boys Town, died in Dickinson County Memorial Hospital here at noon Wednesday.
 
Young Alarcon was injured Frieday when he dived or fell from a dock at the Boys Town summer camp on Lake West Okoboji.
 
His head struck the bottom of the lake, fracturing his neck and causing paralysis from the neck down.
 
Last rites of the Catholic Church were conferred by the Rev. Peyton Connors, Trinity Prep Seminary, Sioux City.
The body was taken to the Leyson Funeral Home, Milford, and was sent to Omaha, where funeral services will be conducted Friday morning by Msgr. Nicholas Wegner, director of Boys Town.
 
Born in Mexico, young Alarcon resided in Texas for a number of years before coming to Boys Town.  He has no known relatives.
 
Requiem mass will be at 11 .a.m., Friday, at the Immaculate Conception Chapel, Boys Town, with burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
