Gonzales, Raymond Arthur, 65 of Denver, Colorado went home to be with the Lord on December 29, 2012. Ray is survived by his mother Martha Warner-Gonzales, brothers Larry and Charles Gonzales, sisters Cecilia Hagedorn and Sarah Chevaucher. He was a loving father to Tina Busby (husband Arden), Yvette Davis (husband Tony), Mark Gonzales (wife Dawn), Ian Kent (wife Amanda), and Suzanne Reed . He was 'Papa Ray' to Renee' (Gonzales) Pence, Shae Busby, Reed Davis, Connor Davis, Trent Davis, Riley Gonzales, Kaylin Gonzales, Emma and Lila Kent.
Ray was a devoted follower of Christ. He lived his life for the Lord and loved people as Jesus did. He was always there for friends and family when they needed him. He was a dedicated prayer warrior for anyone he knew needed prayer. Ray could brighten up any room with his great smile, laugh and sense of humor. He was always the life of the party. Ray was a great cook and loved to barbecue. Ray loved to sing, golf and hunt, but most of all loved his quiet time with the Lord.
Ray served in the Air Force and, of course, was the best hair stylist around. He will be missed by many. We know with great assurance that he is singing praises in heaven with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and with that we have great peace and comfort. We love you Ray and can't wait to see you again.
