Carleton Walter Williams, '55, passed away on August 3, 2023 in Inglewood, Colorado. Lifetime Member.Carleton Walter Williams, 86, of Cheyenne, passed away on August 3, 2023, at Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, CO. He was born on April 10. 1937 in Omaha, NE to William and Josephine Ingalls Williams.
He graduated from Boystown in 1955, where he excelled in swimming and won numerous awards for diving. He liked most sports and became the Nebraska Cornhusker #1 fan throughout his life. Carleton was a truck driver for Yellow Freight, Ringsby, and Consolidated Freightways over the years.
He is survived by his wife Betty; sisters Judy Cooley and Ruth Malone; sons James, Ronald, and Kevin Williams; daughter Lori Howell; nine grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.
Carleton was preceded in death by a sister Marlene Sambasile.
