obit_francis_dvorak_600x800Francis John "Frank" Dvorak, '60, passed away on May 22, 2023 in Sterling, Colorado.  Lifetime Member.

Frank Dvorak passed away Monday, May 22, 2023, at the age of 81. He was surrounded by his loving family. Frank was born in Tyndall, South Dakota on July 24, 1941. He was the son to Frank Dvorak and Mildred Mulleague. He married Phyllis (Reich) of Woodworth, North Dakota in Colorado Springs, CO on Feb 12, 1966. They spent 57 years together.

Frank was a car enthusiast and was a carpenter by trade his whole adult life. He went to Boys Town, when his mother passed and received his HS diploma and received some college credit and learned his trade. He enjoyed spending time with family and going to car shows. He had built several classic cars and belonged to several car clubs. He enjoyed the outdoors, boating, fishing, and hunting. He liked to listen to music and Daniel O'Donnell was one of his favorites to watch on Saturday evenings.

He owned his own business building homes in the Denver Metro area in the late 60's to the mid 80's, when he went to work for Rockwell International and he retired in 2006. He and his wife moved from Lafayette to Sterling for a slower pace of life in their retirement. He went to school to do Home Inspections and did that for a few years in Sterling.

He was preceded in death by his parents Frank Dvorak and Mildred Mulleague; his sisters Mary Ann Dally and Clara Bell Stolz and his brother Jim Dvorak. Frank is survived by his wife Phyllis (Reich), daughter Cherylee Dvorak (Robb Tinnin) of Aurora, CO, grandson Cody Maes (Gordyn Cox) of Elcott, CO, granddaughter Bri Tinnin of Denver, CO, Brandi Tinnin of Littleton CO, great granddaughters Emma and Harper Maes, sister Dorothy Winter of Sioux City, IA, and many nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be held from 9:00 am - 11:30 am, Saturday, June 3 followed by a memorial service at 11:30 am at Chaney -Reager Funeral Home, 443 South 2nd St, Sterling CO. A celebration of Frank's life will be held after at Henry's Bar. If you have a classic car please bring it, Frank would love that.
