Thomas Eugene Bushey, '57, passed away on January 27, 2022 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Thomas E. Bushey, of Minneapolis, passed away on January 27, 2022.
Thomas was a graduate of the Class of 1957 from Boys Town High School at Boys Town, Nebraska. He arrived at Boys Town from Faribault at the age of 13 in 1952. His father was killed in action in France during World War II.
Thomas worked as a machinist and a carpenter for most of his life. Later in life he worked as a cab driver.
He was preceded in death by his father Oliver and his mother Marian Frechette Bushey Zahn. He is survived by his wife Nancy, children Kimberley l. Bushey and Reed Bushey from his first marriage and children Scott P. Bushey, Nichole A. Bushey with his marriage to Nancy. Surviving grandchildren are Amina Joan Bernadette Bushey and Oliver Thomas Bushey.
He will be fondly missed by his family and friends.
