Ronald "Ron" Schieffer, age 75, the son of Anton and Clara (Feldhacker) Schieffer, was born October 30, 1947 in Crofton, Nebraska. He passed away January 18, 2023 in Omaha, Nebraska.
 

Ron is survived by his wife: Donna; daughters: Alicia Sausedo (Steve), Kimberly Kertsburg (Alexis); son: Ronald Schieffer, Jr.; grandsons: Steven Sausedo, Gabriel Kertsburg, and Maxim Kertsburg; granddaughter: Anna Sausedo; siblings: Adeline, James (Joan), Anthony, Ramona, Robert (Mary), Betty (Carney), Francis (Joleen), Laverda (John), Donna (Paul), and Diane (Keith); in-laws: Bob (Karen), Bill (Barb), Ron (Sharon), Nancy, Debby (John) and Sarah; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents; siblings: twin siblings, Wilfred, and Alfred; in-laws: Francis Dreesen, Jack Bagstad, Del Rae Schieffer, Steve Samelson, Jerry Lierman; and nephew: Jeffrey Chvala.
 

Visitation 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Monday, January 23, 2023 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 8200 North 30th Street. Private Interment with Military Honors at Omaha National Cemetery.
