Emmett Warren Bossard, 85, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away on October 14, 2022. Warren was born in Chicago, on September 8, 1937 to Lorraine and John Bossard. Warren lived for six years in Father Flanagan's Boys Town, Omaha, Nebraska before moving to Ventura to live with an aunt. He graduated from Ventura High and then attended and graduated from Ventura Community college.

He began his career in Ventura with Title Insurance and Trust Company, working part time while going to college. He met Sally Favor from Santa Barbara, and they married in 1961.

In 1965 Warren decided to return to college to finish his degree. He graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Masters of Arts, Economics in 1968. In 1969 he began a new career with Texaco, Inc., and was Regional Credit Manager, Western Division for twelve years.

He later returned to the Title Insurance industry with Continental Land Title of Ventura County, as Manager of Subdivision, Commercial/Industrial. Later, together with his brother Michael, and another partner started Lincoln Title of Camarillo.

In 1994 Warren joined Chicago Title as Corporate Vice President with Chicago Title's Western Division in Pasadena, managing both commercial/industrial and residential developments for Ventura and Los Angeles counties. Warren enjoyed working as an Expert Witness and Title Consultant in his "retirement" years.

Warren was an avid outdoorsman all his life and especially loved fishing. He and his wife Sally enjoyed many years of traveling together. Their trip to China to walk a section of the Great Wall being one of the highlights.

Warren, Sally and family moved to Westlake Village in 1974 and are members of St. Jude's Parish in Westlake Village.

Warren is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Roland and John, and his sister Patricia. He is survived by his younger brother Michael, his wife Sally, his three children: daughter Elizabeth Reinert (Tod), son Brian Bossard (Nuonuo) and daughter Victoria Abram, sisters-in-law June Wood, Margaret Langdon, Karen Favor, and Ronnie Skimel, brothers-in-law David and Jack Favor, and Dick Langdon, his five grandchildren, Corinne and Madeline Reinert, Nathan and Patrick Bossard, and Amelia Abram, nephews Neil and Phillip Favor, and numerous nieces and nephews in Chicago.

Warren was most proud of his family, the success of his children, and his service in the Marine Corp.

Services were held with the family at Santa Barbara Cemetery.
