Ms. Shawn Eva Martinez, age 35, a resident of Sparta, passed away Monday August 27, 2012 at Highlands Medical Center.

Shawn was born November 28, 1976 in Elk Grove Village, Illinois.

She is survived by her three children: Angelina Star Martinez, Gavin A.T. Martinez and Julia E.J. Martinez, mother: Sharon Kiel of Sparta, step-father: Frank Kiel of Sparta, brother: Joshua Martinez, sister: Stephanie Martinez, 12 nieces & nephews.

Funeral services were at 1:00pm Friday August 31, 2012 at Bear Cove Baptist Church with burial in Highland Cemetery. The family received friends from 11:00am until service time Friday at the Church. Jerry Pullum officiated.
