Kloven, Gerald Patrick (Pat) 90, of New Brighton, passed away September 6, 2022 while living at St. Anthony Park Home in St. Paul. Born March 17, 1932 in Mobridge, South Dakota to Howard and Katherine (Cotton) Kloven, Pat lived with his grandfather as a child and later lived and graduated from high school in 1949 from Boys Town Village in Nebraska. He was very proud of the education and training he received while at Boys Town.

He served stateside during the Korean conflict, at Fort Meade Maryland and later earned a double E degree from Iowa State University. He worked for 3M and Ramsey Engineering before forming his own company Tecnetics Industries in 1979. After retirement in 1988, he took up woodworking and volunteered in the mechanical shop at Courage Center. Tennis, sailing, golf and travel were other interests.

Pat is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Susanna; his daughters Patti Jo (Robert) Glumack and Cheryl Lynn; stepsons Jeffrey (Melanie) and Rex (Maggie) Taylor; grandchildren Kristin (Clayton) Moore, Nicholas (Harriet) Glumack, Coco, Henry, Marlee and her sister Rebecca; and two great grandchildren known as "the Little Guys", Genesis and Howard. Pat has a surviving brother-in-law Bill Paterson and numerous nieces and nephews who called him "Uncle Pat". The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and administrators at St Anthony Park Home and to Health Partners Hospice for all their loving care.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to Boys Town Education Programs, in Nebraska. A gathering of friends and family will be October 10, 2022, at 1:00pm, at the Silverwood Park Great Hall, 2500 County Rd E, St. Anthony, MN 55421.
