Bracy L. Young, 67, of Elkhart, died Thursday, Jan. 21, at home.  He was born Nov. 7, 1948, in Enid, Okla., to Rubin Exteen Young and Florida (Reen) Doolin.

 
On April 18, 1978, in Fort Wayne, he married Linda Brown Young. She survives at home.

 

Also surviving are his sister, Lorene (William)Reynolds of Oklahoma; his brother, Samson (Sherylon) Doolin; a host of nieces and newphews; and his best friend and second caretaker through his illness, Steven "Bossman" Bonds.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandmother Ruth Carter and a brother, James Doolin.  Bracy was a welder.
