Tom married Jalene (Clemons) Creson Schroeder on June 24, 1989 near Burns, TN. They have resided in Hubbard since 1990.

Tom was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Iowa Falls as well as a member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed volunteering for numerous organizations, the latest being the United Christian Women’s Fellowship Thrift Store in Iowa Falls. Over the years, Tom and Jalene rescued and cared for many cats, including rehoming many of them. He was a University of Iowa Hawkeye Football and Green Bay Packers fan.

While he was never able to serve in the military, he was always proud of the men and women in the Armed Forces and always shared his gratitude with any service member he met. He generally dressed in patriotic shirts and the flag always waves proudly at his home.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Kirk Rauch, father-in-law Wilford Clemons, mother-in-law Esther Clemons, sister-in-law Joan Huston, brothers-in-law Donald Huston and Richard Single.

May he fly high in the Heavens, “On Eagles Wings”.
