The committee met and selected the following for induction into the BTNAA Sports Hall of Fame for 2022.
Living: Bernard Jackson,'69, Joe Ortiz, '69, Phillip Whitworth,'70
Legacy (Deceased) Ray Williams, '54
There are so many great athletes from the 1950s and 1960s that we miss some every once in a while. The committee is certain there are a few more candidates from the 1960s but we should be looking ahead to begin inducting candidates from the 1970s. Due to the COVID pandemic there was no Booster Banquet held in 2021 thus no selections were made. The inductees for the 2020 Hall of Fame will be presented their induction plaques at the upcoming 2022 Booster Banquet because the banquet was cancelled in 2020.
The Committee will work closely with the Alumni Office to ensure that all requirements prior to the banquet are met.
