Robert LeRoy Tombollo, '62, passed away on March 18, 2003 in Florence, Kentucky.
Bob Tombollo was born May 15, 1945 in Cherokee, IA. He grew up there. Following high school graduation, Bob served in the United States Navy. After his discharge he earned a business degree at Sioux Falls College.
Bob began employment with Western Airlines in 1967. He continued with the company after it was acquired by Delta Airlines. He retired in December of 2001 after 34 years of service. In retirement Bob enjoyed traveling and visiting family and friends.
Grateful for having shared his life are one daughter, Sarah Tedesco and her husband, John, Tampa, FL; one grandson, Nicholas Tedesco, Tampa, FL; one sister, Rose Prentice, Oklahoma City, OK; two nephews, Mike Prentice, Steve Prentice; one niece, Jennifer Whitacre; his special friends, Les and Linda Blitch-Noonan and family, Lennox, SD, Jim and Bea Maxwell and family, Ellsworth, IA; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather with the family for food and fellowship at First English Lutheran Church in Lennox following the committal service.
