Miguel Cyril Pena, 66, of Taos, passed away on May 8, 2009.  Miguel was a self-employed architect who was known for his love of the game of pool, art, wood carving and drawing.  Miguel's sense of humor and optimism was demonstrated through the many lives he touched.  He was preceded in death by daughter Donaire Teria Pena, mother, Emelia Lujan, father, Lee Pena and brother, Charlie Pena.  He is survived by children Robert Pena, Mei Lan (Lloyd) Pena Williams, Charmagne Cayanan, Dr. Janisse (Ray) Cayanan Rears, Dr. Nikki (Greg) Cayanan Schaper, Gregory Romero, LeAndra (Joseph) Romero Cordova and Matthew Roberto.  He is survived by many grandchildren and nieces and nephews who loved him.  Funeral was held at Our Lady of GUadalupe Catholic Church in Taos.
