Eugene Joseph "Gene" Postert, age 73, passed away on April 1, 2020 in his hometown of Long Beach.  Gene was a Navy veteran, serving during the Vietnam era.
 

Gene was a 1964 graduate of Boys Town High School in Boys Town, Nebraska where he was joined by his brother Steve and Richard.  He attended Pepperdine University in the early 1970s for a couple of years.  He was a private pilot and loved flying.  Gene was self-employed and had taught courses in Microsoft Computer software products.
 

Gene was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Richard.  He is survived by his son, Eugene, III and his daughter Lisa, a brother Steve (Barb) of Omaha, Nebraska and other siblings.
