Larry “Julio” Ellebb 62, departed this life on December 6, 2020 at home. He was born March 27, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois to Mrs. Annie Ellebb and Mr. James Ellebb Sr.
 

Larry was raised on the south side of Chicago. He graduated from Boys Town High Achool in Omaha Nebraska. Julio moved on to be one of the best shoe salesmen at ArrowSmith shoes. Larry was definitely a people’s person. He was a loving person, a giver and a caretaker. He would definitely give you the shirt off his back.
 

Larry moved to Springfield, Illinois in 2010. He worked at Capital Care and Heritage Health Nursing Home where he was loved by many. He loved to spend his time at the Legion with his family and friends.
 

Larry was preceded in death by his father; Mr. James Ellebb Sr. mother; Mrs. Annie Ellebb and sister; Walausee Ellebb.
 

Larry leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Sonia Ellebb of Chicago, Il, children; DeMario McKever(41) of Chicago, Il, Ashanti Poe(41) of Chicago, Il, Larry Thigpen(38) of Chicago, Il, Tobias Chester(36) of Chicago, Il, Janita Ellebb(27) of Chicago, Il, Ebony Ellebb(24) of Houston, TX, brother; James Ellebb Jr. of Chicago, Il, sister; Sharon Ellebb of Chicago, Il, nephews Tyrice Ellebb & Dejean Ellebb  nieces Keshawna Ellebb, Tykeisha Ellebb and Tyanna Ellebb-Murry, 7 Grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. 

He leaves behind very special friends that he would want us to acknowledge Donna Poe, Gregory Reed, John Ellebb, Amos Perdue, Dan Shields and James Meeks. And several aunts, uncles, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.
